  • 639 new couples tied the knot in Shanghai during the Mid-Autumn Festival 2024-10-25
  • Shanghai extended the service hours of marriage registration the first time for the Mid-Autumn Festival this year. To ensure more considerate and featured marriage registration service for new couples on that day, all marriage registration organs across the city made contingency plans in advance, increased online appointments, allocated more staff and optimized service details to serve registered couples on the very day in high spirits. On the date, a total of 639 new couples in Shanghai completed their marriage registration. Under the theme of Mid-Autumn Festival, marriage registration organs held their well-prepared activities, such as collective certificate issuing for new couples, to guide them to experience traditional family culture and carry forward refined family traditions.
