In order to promote the “Government Open Month” brand, strengthen government-people communication and better serve the people, Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau organized elderly care institution service experience activities themed “walking into elderly care institutions” under the guidance of “pro-people projects to address to their concerns” in August. Those activities were to enable general public to experience various caring services provided by the institutions, including daily care, rehabilitation nursing, health management, spiritual consolation and smart elderly care. A total of 160 elderly care institutions in 16 districts across the city carried out the open month activity and over 2,200 citizens participated through online and offline application.
