On the afternoon of August 19, Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau held the 18^th Director-general Office Meeting in 2024 and invited 4 public representatives to participate for the deliberation of Action Plan on Home Safety and Care Service for Senior Citizens with Special Difficulties (2024 - 2027). The meeting stressed that home safety and care services for senior citizens with special difficulties is a key part of home-based care. It is essential to prevent and reduce safety risks at elderly people’s homes and improve the level of basic elderly care service. The opinions and suggestions of public representatives should be fully absorbed to further transform those suggestions into actions of implementing the Plan.
