On the afternoon of September 9, the “Traditional Chinese Opera and Grandeur of New Era” Senior Citizen Chinese Opera Competition under 2024 (18^th) Shanghai Senior Cultural and Art Festival came to a close. This competition, which was organized by the General Office of Shanghai Working Commission on Aging and undertaken by Shanghai Aging Development and Promotion Center, provided a platform for Chinese opera enthusiasts to perform and share performance skills. Those contestants in various costumes showcased their vigor and charm, love to opera art and pursuit of better life in this new era in their own ways.
