Just before the World Autism Awareness Day on April 2, three Labrador dogs were paired with families and thus started their mission to help and protect the “children with autism”. They were also the first batch of autism assistance dogs in China.

The three assistance dogs were provided under the public welfare project of “Sending Assistance Dogs to Autistic Children”, which aims to train assistance dogs under professional courses for the intervene education of autistic children, and then send them to families in need. According to a staff of the project, they would train more excellent assistance dogs to help more families with autistic children. Applications for the assistance dogs from the Project will remain open to bring hope to more families in need.
