“Shanghai Charity Award”, the highest award from Shanghai government in charity, is organized by the Shanghai Municipal People’s government and hosted by Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau. The selection and recommendation of the second “Shanghai Charity Award” was officially launched.

According to the provisions of the Measures for Selection and Recommendation of “Shanghai Charity Award”, this year’s Award will continue the previous settings with four categories including charity models, charity projects and trusts, corporate donors and individual donors. The Award is set to promote the socialist core values and traditional virtues of Chinese nation across the city and better let charity play its important role in the tertiary distribution.
