On January 19, Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau held an annual conference on law-abiding. The meeting stressed the need to study and implement Xi Jinping Thoughts on the Rule of Law and the importance to ensure the leading role of the Bureau’s Party Branch in promoting the rule of law. It required implementation of major administrative decision-making system and giving full play to legal consultants. In the near future, the Bureau shall promote rule of law in the civil affairs field, continuously push forward the study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thoughts on the Rule of Law and motivate the construction of civil affairs regulations and systems. It shall also strengthen the standardization of civil affairs law enforcement, propel the transformation of civil affairs functions, push forward the standardization of civil affairs work, and shoulder its responsibility to introduce civil-affairs related laws to the public.
