The evaluation of social organizations means that the civil affairs departments of the people's governments at all levels ask evaluation institutions to evaluate social organizations objectively and comprehensively and arrive at evaluation rating conclusions based on relevant evaluation criteria and in accordance with standardized methods and procedures in order to implement the supervision and management responsibilities of social organizations and promote the healthy development of social organizations according to law.

Up to now, there are 3,151 social organizations within the validity period of the evaluation, 305 of which are 5A level social organizations, including 132 social groups, 143 social service institutions, and 30 foundations.
