On February 23, Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau held its 2023 Social Welfare and Charity Work Conference. Shen Min, Deputy Director-general of SCAB, presided over and addressed the meeting.

SCAB will strengthen overall planning and organizational leadership to ensure the orderly implementation of all work throughout the year. A coordinated promotion mechanism will be further developed and district-level practice and exploration will be enhanced. SCAB will also attach great importance to ensuring work safety and continue to push forward the high-quality development of social welfare and charity work in Shanghai, according to the conference.
