On April 15, Mei Zhe, Deputy Director-general of Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau, went to Xinzhuang Town, Minhang District, to inspect the distribution of two subsidies for people with disabilities.

Mei Zhe pointed out that the policy of two subsidies for people with disabilities is a practical one advancing welfare of people with disabilities. In the past five years, all districts have been promoting this policy in a solid and steady manner and have accumulated rich experience. The next step is to actively promote the digital transformation, using information technologies to improve the efficiency, security and accuracy of subsidy distribution, so as to further streamline and optimize the existing work processes and provide more convenient, accurate and people-oriented services for the well-being of people with disabilities.

Relevant responsible persons from Planning and Finance Department of SCAB, Welfare for the Disabled Department of SCAB, Civil Affairs Bureau of Minhang District, Disabled Persons' Federation and Xinzhuang Town participated in the inspection.
