A delegation from Holland Lawrence Foundation, led by Madam. Ellen van den Burgh, member of the Administrative Council of the Foundation, recently paid a visit to Shanghai. Shi Xiaolin, Director-general of the Bureau and Gao Jvlan, Zhou Jingbo and Jiangrui, Vice Directors-general of the Bureau met with the delegation separately.

On the afternoon of May 22, the Bureau had an exchange seminar with the delegation, where the Foundation delegates made their presentations about the assistance to the homeless people, the elderly insurance system and the assessment of the need for the elderly service in Holland and both parties had in-depth discussions on these topics.

During their stay in Shanghai, the delegation also visited the municipal No.1 Elderly Home, and No.3 Elderly Home, some of the community elderly service organizations as well as the medical care organizations like Huashan Hospital.
